Customer Service

Returns: In an effort to keep selling prices down, returns are not allowed unless a return privilege has been agreed upon before the sale IN WRITING. Discuss any need you may have for a return before you make a purchase. Special order or special built products (i.e. Billy Bags custom racks, custom built cables to name a few) are never returnable. Don’t be shy to ask for a return privilege if you are unsure of your purchase. We want you to be happy with your equipment. Customers may be responsible for a restocking fee that varies by situation, and for round trip shipping charges, if any, on all pre-arranged returns

Shipping Prices: All shipping prices shown on the website are for deliveries via UPS ground to addresses within the 48 continental US states. Call or email for shipping prices to other destinations. We do not ship outside of the US and Canada.

Delivery Available: We can deliver purchases both within and outside the local Des Moines area. Delivery fees vary with the equipment purchased and distance traveled.

Please note that the following restrictions DO NOT APPLY to USED merchandise which we can sell to anyone regardless of brand, no matter where you live in the US or Canada.

We are an authorized dealer for all new items listed on our website. As such, we must adhere to the advertising guidelines set by our manufacturers. Most of our manufacturers forbid pricing other than retail to be posted. Often there are single piece or system discounts available that we cannot advertise. Therefore it is always best to call us at 1-515-727-2279 for the latest pricing and availability. Sorry, we are unable to email discount pricing on new products.

Many new items are not available for sale outside of our local territory. The reason is that manufacturer’s may have a local dealership to protect. Audio-Video Logic supports this policy and because of this we must turn away some long distance telephone business. If you do not have a local dealer you are aware of, call or email us. We will check with the manufacturer for you and your area. If you have no local dealer, we will do everything we can to help you. IMPORTANT EXCEPTION: Out of state customers that have visited our store in person are generally eligible to buy any new product we sell, except for B&W and Rotel.

Freight Damage – IMPORTANT!

Regarding acceptance of any common carrier freight delivered to a consumer by UPS or a trucking company from Audio Video Logic, it is imperative that the customer carefully inspect any packages for damage to the product or the packing. Have the freight company employee make notes of ANY visible damage to your package on their bill of lading or scanner BEFORE you sign. This protects you in the event of concealed damage to the product. Open and inspect your product ASAP and report any concealed damage or operation problems to Audio Video Logic within 2 days. Unless these instructions are followed properly, Audio Video Logic is unable to replace items or refund purchases for freight damaged items that have been signed for “free and clear”. If you follow the above instructions, Audio Video Logic and the trucking company can and will work to resolve any properly documented cases of freight damage that occur.
