Magico was created over a decade ago for the sole purpose of leading a no holds-barred assault on what is possible in contemporary loudspeaker design. Inspired by the unique vision of industrial designer and accomplished musician Alon Wolf, every Magico product is designed against the true standard of perfect audio reproduction-live music. Magico V2
The V2 embodies the spirit of the award-winning Mini II in our acclaimed V series floor-standing enclosure design. Utilizing a unique 2.5-way configuration, it combines the coherence of a 2-way with the exceptional dynamic expression associated with our multi-way offerings. Containing two 7” Nano-Tec® drivers operating on separate circuits and mounted at different depths on a “zero horizontal-diffraction” baffle, the V2 is capable of delivering a highly resolved and seamless musical presentation, particularly through the critical mid-bass frequencies. This ambitious design also employs all of our signature engineering innovations-rear mounted drivers coupled to an aircraft-grade 6061-T aluminum baffle, a 17-ply vertically stacked Baltic Birch cabinet, and our tension-coupling mechanism, which uses special aluminum rods and fasteners to create a hermetically sealed, acoustically inert platform. When combined with our proprietary tweeter and Elliptical Symmetry Crossover (ESXO®), the end result is a truly magnificent loudspeaker, one that represents our unyielding commitment to designing and producing the most advanced loudspeaker systems in the world.

Featuring a complete set of Magico-designed drivers including the 3 new 7” Nano-Tec® woofers that have been developed to deliver overall system efficiency of 90 dB; the Q3 is the first Magico loudspeaker to achieve this sensitivity rating. This allows the Q3 to be satisfactorily powered by
high quality amplifiers with as few as 30 Watts.The Q3 builds upon the proven concept of the Q platform first developed for theaward-winning Q5, which was the first Magico product to take advantage of complete in-house control of all design and build variables. Introducing the new Magico Q1, a 2-way stand-mounted monitor housed in a fully-braced, fully-damped, aluminum and copper, hard-anodized enclosure. The Q1 features a complete new set of Magico designed drivers including a new 7” Nano-Tec woofer that has been developed to deliver improved system efficiency and greater power handling. This allows the Q1 to be satisfactorily powered by high quality amplifiers with as few as 50 Watts. Tireless driver development has yielded two new drive units allowing for better power hang and an additional 7Hz of bass extension than the venerable Mini II. Continued research into the damping mechanism used in the Q platform has also resulted in addressing the common problem of resonance in the stand mount. Instead of attempting to add mass to the stand and decoupling the speaker, the Q1 is directly coupled and the stand itself is a damping mechanism. As in most products, addressing problems with more precision allows Magico to carefully consider a broader range of demands. In the Q1, compromises of form factor,
mass, power requirements, and versatility were not necessary due to eliminating inefficiencies in common problem solving design principles. The outcome is a compact, convertible stand-mounted/bookshelf loudspeaker with explosive, true full-range performance. It is the 2-way monitor that has never before been built, by Magico or any other.

The Magico S-5 is a three-way, four-driver floorstanding loudspeaker that borrows heavily from the peerless Q-Series' technological arsenal and employs new manufacturing techniques to create what is the most value laden Magico loudspeaker yet. The eye will be first drawn to the S5’s uniquely new curved enclosure, which is the world’s first utilization of ˝” thick, 16” diameter extruded aluminum walls in a loudspeaker. Taking design cues from the iconic Mini, the cabinet design minimizes diffraction effects, internal resonance, and damping requirements. The elegant, paintable exterior offers a shallow profile that will complement a wide variety of end-user living environments. Available in signature black anodized finish, the S5 is also offered in an array of high gloss and satin M-COAT® paint blends. A removable black grille is included - a first for a Magico speaker. Incorporating entirely new dual-10” Magico hybrid Nano-Tec® bass drivers, the S5 is capable of an astonishing output of 118dB (@ 50Hz-1 meter).
