The Wadia S7i is the latest generation of highly acclaimed, high performance digital audio playback products. Fifteen years ago, Wadia was the first to developproprietary digital circuitry that blended a CD player, preamplifier and digital processing in one product. Today the S7i platform not only provides reference quality CD playback, but also serves as a flexible and complete digital hub that manages and plays multiple digital sources. A full complement of digital inputs including Wadia’s proprietary USB solution allows access and switching of a wide variety of digital sources. The digital to analog conversion is performed and the resulting current is driven with a Class A throughput stage maintaining time and phase integrity.
